Teenager Killed in Northern Israel Explosion; Three Seriously Hurt

A boy approximately 15 years old was pronounced dead at the scene of an explosion in northern Israel, United Hatzalah said in an updated casualty summary on Monday. Its teams treated three seriously injured people and about ten others with mild-to-moderate injuries. The organization’s emergency psychological-assistance teams also assisted people suffering anxiety. Volunteer Shirel Levi said responders were cooperating with Maalot municipality and preparing to assist students, teachers and parents as the remainder of the group reached the assembly point.
