Cindy Hook to Leave Brisbane 2032 CEO Role as Global Replacement Search Begins

Brisbane 2032 chief executive Cindy Hook will not renew her four-year contract, and the Olympic and Paralympic organizing committee said a global search for her successor would begin immediately. The committee confirmed the transition on October 13, with a new chief executive expected in the coming months as it moves from initial planning to operational and event delivery. Hook was appointed in December 2022 after serving as Deloitte Asia Pacific chief executive. Committee president Andrew Liveris credited her with establishing the organization and preparing it for the next phase.
