Kharkiv Mayor Says Three Bodies Recovered After Russian Strike on Apartment Building

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said on October 13 that rescuers had recovered three bodies from rubble after Russian strikes on residential buildings the previous evening. Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported 11 injured, including a rescuer who was hospitalized, and said three people had been rescued alive. The service said missiles struck the Kholodnohirskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts on October 12, destroying an entrance section of a four-story residential building. Terekhov said rescue work continued, while emergency crews searched damaged sites and assisted those affected.
