Omron Announces $675 Million Deal to Buy Industrial PC Maker OnLogic

Japan's Omron announced on October 13 that it had agreed to acquire Interlogic and its group, including industrial-computer maker OnLogic, at an enterprise value of $675 million. The deal is expected to close around January 2027, subject to regulatory approvals and other contractual conditions. Omron plans to combine OnLogic's industrial PCs with its high-precision control technology to develop physical-AI platforms and expand sales through American and European customers. Vermont-based OnLogic is expected to retain its brand, direct-sales model and independent operations, with its current management, including CEO Sean Larkin, remaining in place.
