Second Grenade Thrown on Tel Aviv’s Menachem Begin Street; No Injuries

A fragmentation grenade was thrown overnight on Menachem Begin Street in Tel Aviv, the second such incident at the location in less than a week. No injuries were reported, but a bus stop was damaged. Police said the incident had a criminal background, and officers and bomb-disposal personnel collected evidence and opened an investigation. Investigators are examining a suspected criminal dispute concerning an illegal-gambling apartment that recently closed. The previous grenade incident on the street was reported last week and also caused no injuries.
