Iranian Daily Details How Khamenei Audio Could Expose His Location

A Tehran municipality-affiliated Iranian daily said authorities have withheld audio from Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei because intelligence services could use it to locate him. The report identified room acoustics and electrical-grid interference as clues that could reveal a recording site and time. It said microphone signatures and background noise from ventilation, generators or cooling systems could expose the equipment and surroundings. Earlier reports have noted that Khamenei has remained out of public view and issued written statements, while uncertainty over his location and health continues.
