Poll Finds Ra'am Would Reach Seven Seats if Segalovitz Joins Its Slate

A new poll published on the evening of August 5 found that if Yesh Atid MK Yoav Segalovitz joins Mansour Abbas's Ra'am, their combined slate would rise from five seats to seven. It projected the opposition taking 69 seats to the coalition's 51, yet the Jewish opposition alone reached only 58 and would still need Arab parties to form a government. Yoaz Hendel and Chili Tropper's Beit Tziyoni list slipped below the electoral threshold. Asked about bringing Ra'am into a coalition, 45 percent of respondents were opposed, 29 percent were in favor, and 26 percent were undecided. The survey sampled 961 respondents with a 3.7 percent margin of error.
