Strock Tops Religious Zionism Vote as Party Unveils Knesset Slate

Religious Zionism's central committee ranked Settlements Minister Orit Strock first in its internal vote for the party's next Knesset slate. She was followed by MKs Simcha Rothman, Zvi Sukkot and Ohad Tal, while Yesha Council director-general Omer Rahamim was the highest-ranked newcomer. Party chairman Bezalel Smotrich remains at the head of the overall slate and controls two reserved places, so the final order may still change. The party said 170 of its 173 central committee members voted, a 98.5% turnout, ahead of Israel's October 27 election.
