Iran Security Chief Threatens Netanyahu, Ties Hormuz Reopening to War End

Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary Mohsen Rezaei threatened Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during an Al Manar interview on Thursday evening. Rezaei said fully reopening the Strait of Hormuz depends on ending the wars in Lebanon and Gaza, an Israeli withdrawal from territory held in Lebanon, and an end to Israeli strikes in Syria. He said Iran currently permits only a temporary, limited central shipping corridor and called Beirut and Dahiyeh a red line. Rezaei said, ‘We will send him to hell,’ and threatened U.S. economic interests if Washington increases economic pressure on Tehran.
