IDF Says It Pushed Lebanese Troops Back From Southern Security Zone

The IDF said Lebanese Army personnel entered Israel's defined security zone in southern Lebanon and set up roadblocks without coordination. It said troops told them to leave and pushed them back when they did not comply, adding that it expected no further Lebanese Army entry into the zone. An AFP photographer saw two Israeli tanks stop at an earthen berm opposite Lebanese military vehicles near Deir Mimas, while the Lebanese vehicles repositioned roughly 100 meters. Lebanese reporting said the Israeli troops later withdrew from the advanced point.
