IDF Destroys Major Routes in Hezbollah Tunnel Network Near Metula

IDF forces destroyed several central routes in Hezbollah's underground tunnel network at the Beaufort Ridge in southern Lebanon shortly after midnight Friday. The military said the multi-level strategic complex, built over two decades and financed and planned by Iran, served as the Badr Unit's central command post for directing fire against Israeli troops and civilians. Located about six kilometers from Metula and Mavo Galil, the network was used to launch dozens of unmanned aircraft, explosive drones and anti-tank missiles. The 36th Division had spent recent weeks securing the ridge, clearing the tunnels and preparing them for demolition.
