Likud announced final vote-count results after the Be’er Yaakov recount, moving Eti Atia to 25th place with 22,210 votes and Gila Gamliel to 35th with 21,754. Atia, who was backed by Minister Haim Katz, therefore moved ahead of Gamliel in the party’s Knesset slate. The revised positions follow Gamliel’s opposition to the recount, a police complaint and allegations described in the report as claims of election theft. The difference between the two final totals is 456 votes. The party’s announcement replaced the earlier primary result with its final tally.
