Several areas in Sirik, in southern Iran’s Hormozgan province, were reported hit by hostile projectiles early Thursday. Explosions were also reported in Minab and on Qeshm Island; local authorities said the sounds on Qeshm came from the direction of the sea. Reports placed the blasts at about 00:24 to 00:26 Thursday local time and described buildings shaking. No verified report identified the attacker or intended targets, and casualties and damage had not been confirmed.
