Mohsen Rezaei Says IAEA Moves Will Push Countries Out of NPT

Iranian Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei said the IAEA Board of Governors’ latest resolution was anti-Iranian, illegal, nontechnical, political and unacceptable. He alleged that the measure bore the marks of pressure from the United States and what he called Zionism. Rezaei warned that what he described as destructive and political conduct by the nuclear watchdog would push countries toward withdrawal from the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. He did not name any country considering that step in the statement published Thursday on his official channel.
