The UN Human Rights Office said eight Palestinians, including a boy, and two Israeli military members have been killed in the West Bank since last Thursday. It said attacks by settlers and the creation of settlements and outposts had reached an all-time high, urging coordinated international action. The IDF said Friday's deadly Tal confrontation began after Israeli civilians entered Palestinian Authority-controlled territory and a Palestinian seized a rifle and opened fire. The Israeli military detained more than 70 suspects afterward as it expanded operations around Nablus.
