Haifa Car Bombing Kills Hariri Crime Figure
Hebrew and English reports said a car bomb in Haifa's Kiryat Haim neighborhood killed Rabee Abu Haikal, a figure associated with the Hariri crime organization, on Tuesday evening. Magen David Adom medics found him without signs of life, and police said the blast appears criminal rather than terror-related. The killing followed a rapid series of car bombings and shootings inside Arab communities and mixed cities, keeping pressure on Israel Police and the government to break organized-crime networks. Israel's duty is to restore deterrence, protect law-abiding Arab citizens, and make clear that domestic crime families will not control Israeli streets.
