UK Pair Avoid Jail After Antisemitic TikTok Abuse
The Independent reported July 3 that Adam Bedoui and Abdelkader Amir Bousloub, both 21, avoided immediate jail at Thames Magistrates' Court after filming antisemitic abuse of a Jewish man in east London for TikTok. Each received a six-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, plus 150 hours of unpaid work, 20 rehabilitation days and costs, after pleading guilty to religiously aggravated intentional harassment. Metropolitan Police and CPS releases, plus the JC, the Standard and Ynet, confirm the men travelled to Clapton Common near Stamford Hill to target Jews for social-media content. Jewish communities need visible policing and serious prosecutions when online attention-seeking becomes antisemitic harassment.
