Trump Security Confidence Falls to 28% in Israeli Poll
The June Israeli Voice Index found that 28% of Israelis say Israel's security is a central consideration for President Donald Trump, down from 44% in May. The survey, conducted June 28-July 1 among 603 Jewish and 151 Arab adults, put the figure at 26% among Jewish respondents and 36% among Arab respondents. It also found that 38% say Israel's strategic security situation is better than before the Iran war, while 36% say it is worse. Another 72% said Israel should maintain a permanent security zone in southern Lebanon, even at the cost of friction with Washington.
