Kuwait and Bahrain Face Incoming Fire After U.S. Iran Strikes
Kuwait said its air defenses engaged incoming fire early Wednesday after U.S. forces struck Iran, while Bahrain said it faced incoming missiles and activated sirens, with no immediate word on damage in either country. U.S. Central Command said the strike wave hit more than 80 Iranian targets, including air-defense systems, coastal radar, anti-ship capabilities and more than 60 IRGC small boats, after Iranian attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. The escalation keeps Tehran's maritime coercion on Israel's security agenda as U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth heads to Israel for talks expected to include Iran.
