Mamo and Mental Break Israeli Under-23 Records at National Athletics Championship

Noam Mamo broke Israel's under-23 400-meter record for the second time in four days, clocking 46.58 seconds at the 90th Israeli Athletics Championships in Jerusalem. Yarden Mental cleared 4.16 meters in the pole vault, improving her own Israeli under-20 and under-23 marks by one centimeter. Emmanuel Aka won the men's 100 meters in 10.38 seconds after a 10.36 personal best in the semifinals, while Mercy Afrifah claimed the women's title in 11.72. Estelle Valeanu won the discus with 56.17 meters as athletes pursued qualification points for next month's European Championships.
