Israel Railways resumed service Tuesday between Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan and Ashdod Ad Halom after a brush fire beside the line caused more than an hour of disruption. Trains had been halted and Yavne West station temporarily closed while five fire crews worked in open ground near Route 4, between the Yavne interchange and Gan Sorek. Firefighters worked to contain the flames and gain control, and police also closed Route 4311 during the response. The restoration ended the temporary shutdown along the southern coastal segment.
