Kia Launches Sportage Plug-In Hybrid and Updated Niro in Israel

Kia has launched two electrified crossovers in Israel, the 288-horsepower Sportage plug-in hybrid and a facelifted Niro hybrid. The Sportage offers up to 68 kilometers of electric range under the combined standard, or 88 kilometers in urban driving, and carries a NIS 215,000 launch price. The updated Niro is offered in EX and Premium trims with eight airbags, twin 12.3-inch displays and wireless smartphone integration, starting at a launch price of NIS 170,000. Kia says nearly 50,000 Niro units have been delivered in Israel since 2016.
