U.S. Antisemitism Envoy Welcomes Saudi Textbook Reforms

U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun welcomed Saudi Arabia's efforts to reform school textbooks and address concerning material. His remarks followed an IMPACT-se review of the kingdom's 2024–2026 curriculum, which found stronger messages of peace, coexistence and critical thinking alongside reduced extremist content. Kaploun urged Saudi authorities to continue the changes and said education can help advance peace and coexistence in the spirit of the Abraham Accords. The report documents reforms incorporated into the current curriculum and describes a continuing process of removing problematic material.
