Local Rain and Flood Risk Forecast for Eastern Israel

The Israel Meteorological Service forecast partly cloudy skies and a slight rise in temperatures on Saturday, with readings remaining seasonally normal. Local rain is expected mainly in eastern Israel from the afternoon, with isolated thunderstorms possible and a flash-flood risk in the Judean Desert and Dead Sea area. Saturday night should remain partly cloudy, while Sunday is expected to bring little temperature change and possible afternoon rain in the east. The Nature and Parks Authority advises visitors to monitor official forecasts, obey authorities and observe floods only from safe locations away from channels and unstable banks.
