Dubai Airport First-Half Passenger Traffic Falls 31.3% to 31.5 Million

Dubai International Airport handled 31.5 million passengers in the first half of 2026, down 31.3% from a year earlier, while second-quarter traffic totaled 13 million. Monthly passenger volume recovered from 3.5 million in April to 5 million in June. Aircraft movements fell 32.1% to 150,600, cargo dropped 28.7% to 751,340 tonnes and baggage volume declined 28% to 30.3 million. The airport served 217 destinations in 99 countries through almost 50 international airlines, while nearly 99% of arriving and departing passengers cleared passport control within the stated service targets.
