Harish Completes Drainage Bypass to Protect Nahal Narbeta

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of a municipal utility worker crouched in a muddy excavation trench while fitting a blue valve between black drainage pipes, drawn in warm ochre and slate-blue pastel with cross-hatching on sepia newsprint.

Harish has completed a drainage chamber and diversion line intended to stop sewage from reaching Nahal Narbeta through the municipal stormwater system. The new installation will also serve as a backup while crews identify and repair the underlying sources of contamination. The project followed joint work by the city, the Sharon Drainage and Streams Authority, Zalul, the Environmental Protection Ministry and local residents. Officials said improper sewer connections, including on private property and in areas under a developer's responsibility, had complicated efforts to isolate each source.
