Israel’s Gasoline Price to Rise 16 Agorot to NIS 8.25 in September

Israel’s maximum self-service price for 95-octane gasoline will rise 16 agorot to NIS 8.25 per liter, including VAT, when September prices take effect at midnight between Monday and Tuesday. The Energy Ministry said the 1.98% increase reflects a roughly 6% rise in international gasoline prices, partly offset by an approximately 3% fall in the dollar, plus indexed excise and marketing-margin updates. Full service will cost up to NIS 8.51 per liter. In Eilat, the VAT-free self-service ceiling will rise 14 agorot to NIS 6.99.
