Ciena Reports 37% Revenue Jump and Raises 2026 Guidance

Ciena reported fiscal third-quarter revenue of $1.671 billion, up 37.0% from $1.219 billion a year earlier, as optical-networking sales reached $1.191 billion and 71.3% of revenue. GAAP net income rose to $266.4 million from $50.3 million, while adjusted diluted earnings climbed to $2.11 a share from $0.67. The Maryland company forecast fiscal fourth-quarter revenue of $1.75 billion, plus or minus $50 million. It raised full-year fiscal 2026 guidance to $6.42 billion, plus or minus $50 million, representing 35% growth at the midpoint.
