Samiha Kashkush, a Kalansuwa resident about 70 years old, was seriously wounded when gunfire struck her while she sat on a sofa inside her home early Sunday. Magen David Adom said medics found her conscious with a penetrating wound and took her to Meir Medical Center in Kfar Saba in serious but stable condition. Police were investigating a suspected connection to a family dispute over stolen jewelry.
