Jerusalem Construction Site Closed for 30 Days After 20 Palestinians Found Without Permits

Detectives from Jerusalem’s Oz police station and Border Police officers found 20 residents of Judea and Samaria staying and sleeping without valid Israeli entry or stay permits at a construction site on Shimon Mishori Street. The discovery came during an enforcement operation by Oz detectives and Border Police at the Jerusalem worksite. Following the finding, Jerusalem District commander Avshalom Peled signed an administrative order closing the site for 30 days. Police said the closure was imposed after the permit violations were discovered at the workplace.
