Clalit Plans NIS 400 Million Medical Logistics Center in Beersheba

Clalit Health Services announced plans to invest about NIS 400 million in a new medical logistics center in Beersheba. The 23-dunam complex will include 27,500 square meters above ground and automated systems for inventory, picking and distribution. Clalit said it will supply Soroka and Yoseftal hospitals and hundreds of clinics and pharmacies across southern Israel, while creating more than 100 pharmacy, administrative and operations jobs. The organization said the hub, its third after Shoham and Haifa, is designed to meet southern logistics needs for at least 20 years and reduce reliance on vulnerable north-south transport routes.
