Health Ministry Lifts Boil-Water Rule Across Most of Karmiel

The Health Ministry lifted Karmiel’s boil-water requirement across most of the city after nearly three days, saying most sampling points returned normal results and the water corporation completed corrective measures. Residents may again use tap water normally in the cleared areas. The precaution remains in force throughout the industrial zone, on specified streets in the Hameyasdim and southern neighborhoods, and at several civic facilities including the Cultural Hall, stadium, conservatory, library and Ofira Park. In those locations, water must still be boiled before drinking, brushing teeth, preparing food or preparing medicines.
