INSS researcher Dr. Ofer Friedman tested ChatGPT and Gemini for ten days in July, using fresh profiles and prompts in Hebrew, English, Arabic and Russian. Both models ranked Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar! highest when asked to score Israeli parties across five policy and performance criteria; their next choices differed. Friedman said the pattern did not show conspiracy or deliberate manipulation, but reflected built-in tendencies and reliance on English-accessible, machine-readable sources. He warned voters not to treat chatbots as neutral political advisers, while the study also found that warning behavior varied sharply by language.
