Iranian Oil Chief Says Kharg Operations Continue, Rejecting Trump Claim

National Iranian Oil Company CEO Hamid Bovard said oil operations on Kharg Island had not stopped even for a moment, rejecting President Donald Trump's claim that the export hub was being destroyed. Bovard said conditions were calm and contractors continued rebuilding and modernizing storage tanks and marine jetties. He called Trump's posts laughable. Several hours after Trump's post, no evidence of an attack had emerged, and synthetic-media software assessed its video as most likely AI-generated. Kharg handled about 90% of Iran's oil exports before the war.
