The Finance and National Security ministries signed annual compensation agreements worth NIS 23 million for specialized Israel Police units. Traffic-accident investigators will receive a NIS 2,000 pensionable monthly payment, while non-officer field forensic investigators will get about NIS 1,600 monthly and administrative staff at the West Bank Border Police command about NIS 3,000 monthly. The agreements also raise eligibility levels for several identification and headquarters roles. Police Commissioner Dani Levy said the package followed about a decade of work and recognizes officers’ professional service, responsibility and operational demands.
