Kharkiv Mayor Says 35 Affected by Russian Strike on Apartment Block

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said 35 people had been affected by a Russian strike on an apartment block in the city's Saltivskyi district on September 28. Terekhov first reported the hit overnight and later said search crews had finished checking the rubble, with nobody still trapped beneath it. In an earlier count, he said 29 people had been affected, including ten children, before raising the total to 35. Ukraine's State Emergency Service said the lower floors of a nine-story building were damaged and rescuers brought 32 people out. The mayor also reported damage to residential buildings in the nearby Kyivskyi district.
