Ben Gurion Airport Reopens Public Parking After Holiday Crowding

The Israel Airports Authority reopened public parking at Ben Gurion Airport on Monday morning after spaces became available, reversing its Sunday warning that every airport lot was full. It said travelers and people accompanying them may again drive to the airport and park, subject to availability. The authority had urged use of public transportation a day earlier as holiday passenger traffic filled the lots. Monday's update restores access to public airport parking for private cars, but it does not guarantee an open space when a traveler arrives.
