El Al flight LY017 from Tel Aviv to Miami returned to Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday after a technical fault was detected in flight. The plane returned to Israel about four and a half hours after departure, following an extended delay before takeoff. El Al said passengers would be offered another flight to Miami or a full refund of their tickets. The airline apologized for the disruption and said passenger and crew safety remained its priority.
