UAE Attorney General Hamad Saif Al Shamsi said Saturday that investigators found the copilot of Flydubai flight FZ1073 attempted a terrorist act. He said the copilot attacked the captain inside the flight deck with a crash axe and tried to take control of the aircraft. The investigation continues into the circumstances, motives and any related links, with technical examinations and analysis of physical and digital evidence still underway. Al Shamsi said final results would be announced after all necessary procedures were completed.
