UAE presidential diplomatic adviser Anwar Gargash warned Saturday that hate speech used to justify terrorism is part of the danger facing the region. His statement followed the attempted attack on a Flydubai flight that had been operating from Dubai to Ben Gurion Airport. Gargash described the latest terrorist operation as another warning that the confrontation with extremism had not ended. He reaffirmed the UAE's firm stance of no tolerance for extremism or its rhetoric, saying security begins with confronting hatred and drying up extremism's sources.
