Israir said Saturday morning that a dedicated aircraft carrying passengers' luggage had landed in Israel overnight as part of its repatriation operation from Dubai. The baggage aircraft departed immediately after the passenger aircraft, and the airline said both flights had landed during the night. The passenger flight brought about 180 Israelis home and reached Ben Gurion approximately two hours after Arkia's arrival shortly after 01:20. The passengers had been stranded following Flydubai's cancellations after the attempted attack aboard its aircraft. Israir said it would operate further Dubai repatriation flights in the coming days.
