Al-Qaeda Images Found on Flydubai Suspect’s Social Accounts

Two posts appeared on the Omani Flydubai suspect’s LinkedIn profile about nine hours after Wednesday’s incident aboard an Israel-bound flight. The footage included cockpit views of Israeli aircraft, including El Al and Arkia planes, and a video ended with images of former al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri and suicide bomber Humam Khalil Abu-Mulal al-Balawi. The same videos appeared on an Instagram account carrying the same name and pictures, and both accounts were subsequently deleted. It remains unclear who published the posts or whether they had been scheduled in advance.
