Russian Strikes Kill One in Kyiv and a Child in Vyshhorod

Russian strikes killed one person in Kyiv and a child in nearby Vyshhorod overnight into September 30, Ukrainian authorities reported. Kyiv emergency services said four people were injured in the Sviatoshynskyi district, where a private home burned and about ten houses were damaged. Tymur Tkachenko said rescuers found a child’s body beneath a destroyed home in Vyshhorod and rescued three others, including another child, while a man and a woman received treatment for injuries. In Bucha district, three private homes, 11 vehicles and two warehouses were damaged, with infrastructure also affected elsewhere in the region.
