Mayor Yossi Brodny announced that a new football pitch has opened in Fountains Park in southern Givat Shmuel. The pitch sits beside the roller-skating court and is reserved for children up to age 14, giving younger residents a dedicated place to play. It joins the park's existing pitches, which continue to serve the general public. Brodny encouraged the city's young football enthusiasts to use their new pitch and start training; the report did not specify the date of the physical opening.
