Holon Community Garden Announces October Bird and Nesting-Box Workshops

Holon's Kiryat Ayalon community garden has announced an October program that includes an urban-bird activity and workshops to build nesting boxes for gardens and parks. The garden said it had won a municipal call for proposals for the nesting-box project, in cooperation with the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel and the city's sustainability department. The bird activity is scheduled for October 13 at 16:30, with workshops on October 19 at 17:00 and October 29 at 16:00. Organizers said the program is open to all ages.
