Kamari Announces 50% Partnership to Operate and Expand Zalman's

Kamari Retail has announced an agreement to acquire 50% of the rights to operate and develop the Zalman's restaurant chain in Israel. The kosher American-style fast-food chain has 12 branches, and the partners plan to reach about 20 by the end of this year and about 40 nationwide in coming years. The planned investment includes branches, infrastructure, branding and product development. The partners say the expansion will preserve the chain's existing character while reaching more customers, including beyond its established Haredi customer base.
