Average Israeli High-Tech Wage Falls 6.2% in July

New figures published by the Central Bureau of Statistics on October 5 put Israel's average gross monthly wage per high-tech employee job at NIS 34,301 in July, down 6.2% from June but 2.3% above July 2025. The sector had 397,300 salaried positions, down from 397,900 in June and 398,300 a year earlier. High-tech accounted for 9.3% of all salaried jobs, compared with 9.4% in June and July 2025. Programming and computer consultancy accounted for more than 218,000 salaried positions, representing 55% of high-tech jobs.
