Mali and Liel Yahalomi reportedly boarded a flight to Israel on October 7, after earlier reports mistakenly identified them as women detained in Namibia. Their flight from Athens was expected to arrive at Ben Gurion Airport around 15:30. Rabbi Yosef Rahimi, the Chabad emissary in Namibia, said he had visited the detainees with food and water and recognized that they were not Mali and Liel. The mother and daughter had disappeared while traveling in Vienna in August and were subsequently located in Argentina.
