Police Arrest Hebron-Area Man Suspected of Praising October 7 Massacre

Israeli police disclosed the arrest of a man in his twenties from Deir Samat on suspicion of incitement to terrorism and publishing praise for the October 7 massacre. Police said they monitored online posts glorifying the attack on October 7, as Israel marked its third anniversary. Intelligence work identified the suspected uploader of a video praising the attack, whom police described as identifying with Hamas. The Hetz Yehuda police unit carried out the arrest together with the IDF’s Judea Brigade and Judea and Samaria Division. The suspect was questioned at Hebron police station and then detained.
