IDF Begins Operation to Remove Terrorist Monuments in Judea and Samaria

IDF forces operated overnight and Wednesday morning to remove monuments honoring terrorists in Nablus, Ya’bad and other locations across Judea and Samaria. A central monument in Nablus and a monument honoring Yasser al-Hamdouni in Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin, were demolished. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and MK Tzvi Sukkot had mapped dozens of such monuments in recent weeks and demanded their removal. Forces left a leaflet warning residents against incitement and the glorification of attacks against Israel. Smotrich and Sukkot welcomed the operation and thanked the forces carrying it out.
